INT060: Operations, Events & Marketing Assistant Apply

DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY:
This organization was created to provide support to international students or young graduates in finding internship opportunities in Portugal.

LOCATION: Lisbon (Portugal)

MINIMUM DURATION: 5 months

START DATE: As soon as possible

REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Management, Marketing, Human Resources, Communications, Hospitality, Events Management or a related field;
- Strong organizational and time-management skills;
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities;
- Interest in business operations, events and marketing;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is an advantage.

TASKS:

• Assist with the day-to-day management of restaurant operations
• Support administrative and organizational processes
• Help identify and implement operational improvements
• Organize and manage accounting documentation
• Prepare and maintain records for the accounting department
• Support general administrative tasks and internal controls
• Assist with staff scheduling and workforce planning
• Support recruitment and onboarding processes
• Help maintain HR-related documentation and records
• Assist in the planning, promotion and execution of academic and recreational events

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week

LEVEL OF LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY EXPECTED FROM THE TRAINEE:

• English B2/C1

• Portuguese A2/B1

FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION:

• Food expenses: Complimentary meals during working hours, including breakfast, lunch and dinner

OBSERVATIONS:
We are looking for a proactive, organized and motivated intern to support the day-to-day management of a dynamic academic restaurant and events venue.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to multiple areas of business management, including operations, administration, human resources, event planning and marketing, providing a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
