INT057: Nightlife Production & Operations Intern

DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY:
This organization was created to provide support to international students or young graduates in finding internship opportunities in Portugal.

LOCATION: Porto (Portugal)

MINIMUM DURATION: 3 months

START DATE: September 16, 2026

REQUIREMENTS:
Degree or background in Event Management, Tourism, Hospitality, Entertainment, Performing Arts, or related fields.
High degree of personal responsibility, punctuality, and reliability under unstructured conditions.
Creative mindset: ability to design games, themes, route concepts, and crowd-engagement dynamics.
Fluent in English (command of other European languages is highly valued).
Organizational discipline to handle event paperwork, schedules, partner communications, and materials during office prep.
Availability for daytime planning and preparation with regular night execution shifts.

TASKS:

  • Nightlife Experience Design & Creativity
  • Brainstorm and implement interactive entertainment elements (drinking games, icebreakers, themed nights, challenge concepts) to elevate guest engagement.
  • Research emerging nightlife trends, music styles, and party formats to keep events distinct and competitive.
  • Evaluate event pacing, crowd reaction, and customer feedback to refine the flow of future nights.
  • Event Management & Production Prep :
  • Structure timelines, itineraries, and logistics for weekly operations and special night projects.
  • Maintain operational checklists: inventory prep (wristbands, game materials, props, stamps), vendor follow-ups, and booking confirmations.
  • Liaise with operational leads to ensure clear assignment of roles and responsibilities prior to event nights.
  • Take charge of the event atmosphere, setting a high standard for energy, inclusivity, and guest interaction on shift.
  • Oversee smooth door admissions, ticketing verification, and queue management at partner venues.

WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week

LEVEL OF LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY EXPECTED FROM THE TRAINEE:

  • English B2/C1
